Treatment & Bookings

I am a registered Remedial Massage Therapist with Massage Association Australia.

Health Fund Rebates apply to all Remedial Therapy Sessions.

Remedial massage is the systematic assessment and treatment of the muscles, tendons, ligaments and connective tissues of the body to assist in rehabilitation, pain and injury management. It is performed to create favourable conditions for the body to return to normal health after injury and is defined by the premise that the treatment can reasonably reverse certain physical effects a patient may be presenting.

If you have suffered a moderate injury resulting in structural pain and/or loss of function, then remedial therapy is required to reduce or eliminate pain and restore function.

Remedial massage is designed to balance muscle/soft tissue length, tension, tone which will in turn promote the return to normal joint/capsular/bone position; increase the flow of blood and lymph, particularly in the injured areas, thus removing blockages, damaged cells, scar tissue and adhesion's resulting from your injury.

Please ensure you provide accurate medical details for your client records as some medical conditions may require particular care or may even be strictly unsuitable to your current health condition.

If you are a Health Care Card holder or Senior Pensioner card you are eligible to receive Treatments at discounted prices, please ask your Doctor for a referral for any specific conditions that may apply to your current health status.

If you have a Medical Condition such as Lymphoedema please obtain a copy of your Medical Report to bring to your first consultation. This will save time and give a clear picture of what considerations are required for your treatment.
